DAC (direct attach copper) cable systems for QSFP+ interfaces
QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) or 40GBASE-CR4 is an extension of the established I/O interface system SFP+ and was developed for 40 Gb/s Ethernet and 40 Gb/s Infiniband QDR (Quadruple Data Rate) applications.
Our copper-based QSFP+ cable assemblies are a low-cost, low-power, low-latency and hot-pluggable alternative to fiber optic modules. The QSFP+ DAC copper cables are available in transmission lengths of up to 5 m.
By controlling the whole transmission channel, we have set new standards in the industry with its QSFP+ DAC copper cables in regard to NEXT characteristics, self-damping and usability. Thus, the QSFP+ copper solutions consist of ParaLink® high speed cables, optimized circuit boards and standard SFF 8436 compliant housing with an innovative spring mechanism for easy release.
